Save the Ta tas Doll

I made a Flamingo for the doll auction. . I just thought she represented a fun way of showing save the ta tas as an older lady dressed to the nines, but knowing enough to wear comfortable shoes to dance in. This is an original pattern designed by me for a contest by the Dollmakers Journey, the funky flamingo doll; for the Flamingo Casino in Las Vegas. I came in third place; not bad for a beginner. First I made the doll then had to make a pattern. The original was given to a friend for her motorhome. She is a fun doll to make and dress.

Gazing Balls WIP this where I work on them. Nice and shady.

Moved the mosaic gazing balls to one area, so I can finish cleaning them. I like them all lined up so you see them as you come in the back driveway. I have to decide what to do with them. They are addicting to make.
picture taken in the early morning with brite sun on them. They have a lot of colored glass and mirrors on them that do not show up. Operator error.

The link for breast Cancer Awareness Call for Artists is
http://www.thedolliemama.com/CALL_FOR_ARTISTS.htm . ; which will explain the fundraiser. There is also a link on the page which opens the Artist Participation Form we ask everyone to complete that wants to enter a doll. I really have to finish my doll so I can get it in to the doll club and let them handle it from there.

I am entering an art doll for the Breast Cancer Awareness Fund Raiser Save the TA Tas. This is sponsored by Gallery 225 and Dollie Mama and the Fabric Floozie Doll Club in AZ. All art dolls will be on display starting Oct 9 thru the 15th. I am working on this so I don't have pictures yet.

It is hot and dry almost everything in the garden has dried up. I was looking to add some color to the yard. I love working with colored glass, but not really up to doing big projects. I found the

garden junk forum and have copied a few ideas from there. These are garden spheres and stands made from recycled objects. Smashed plates, glass, mirrors etc. not finished yet, but working on them hope to be finished soon.
